To develop and help implement a robust strategy and business model for a semi-autonomous network of international offices

Client: Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Programme

Review of the relationship between the UK Head Office Secretariat and the International Offices: contractual, formal and informal.

Identifying barriers and challenges to, and solutions for, cooperative working.

Establishing common goals and objectives.

Developing and agreeing a strategy and streamlined business model .

Definition of 'rights and responsibilities' between the Secretariat and the International Offices.

Refocusing governance and control structures.

Creation of core product framework and suite of supporting processes.

Outcome

Shift in emphasis from a centre-to-operations approach to one based on peer-to-peer good practice, strengthening relationships between the internal stakeholders.

Business model refined to focus on key products and processes common to the network.

Work underway to implement common operations and systems standards across the network.

CRC quickly got to the heart of our issues and developed a clear and pragmatic business model which we could easily implement.
